Au m\u00e9pris de la discrimination sexuelle et de l’esprit de guerre, elle a d\u00e9fi\u00e9 les conventions de son \u00e9poque et est devenue une source d’inspiration pour les femmes autod\u00e9termin\u00e9es, \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque comme aujourd’hui. \u00ab\u00a0A travail \u00e9gal, salaire \u00e9gal\u00a0\u00bb, Gertrud Woker a r\u00e9clam\u00e9 d\u00e8s 1917 l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 des droits pour les femmes. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 une pionni\u00e8re du mouvement pour la paix et les femmes et l’une des premi\u00e8res femmes professeurs en Europe. Par ses recherches et ses critiques sur l’utilisation des gaz toxiques, la scientifique naturelle est rapidement entr\u00e9e en conflit avec l’\u00e9lite \u00e0 motivation militaire. N\u00e9anmoins, elle s’est battue sans rel\u00e2che jusqu’\u00e0 un \u00e2ge avanc\u00e9 pour la paix et la justice ainsi que contre l’utilisation abusive de la science. Qualifi\u00e9e de malade mentale, la pacifiste a finalement pass\u00e9 les derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de sa vie dans une psychiatrie. Ainsi, injustement, mais peut-\u00eatre pas accidentellement, elle a disparu de la m\u00e9moire historique.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le documentaire d’animation LA PACIFISTE raconte la vie et les accomplissements de cette femme fascinante \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d’un collage. \u00c0 travers les entr\u00e9es du journal intime, les rapports scientifiques et les po\u00e8mes de Gertrud Woker elle-m\u00eame, le film est touchant par sa proximit\u00e9 et son honn\u00eatet\u00e9. LA PACIFISTE est \u00e0 la fois une biographie et une documentation sur les \u00e9v\u00e9nements de l’\u00e9poque, qu’elle \u00e9claire du point de vue d’une femme courageuse qui n’a pu \u00eatre r\u00e9duite au silence de son vivant.<\/p>\n
